Cub Scout Pack 3126, Garnett, is chartered by the First United Methodist Church of Garnett. We have been continuously chartered by the church since 1952.
As of January 2011, we have 38 Cub Scouts in our pack. To join Cub Scouts a boy must be a 1st grader or 6 years old and can join up to 5th grade or 11 years old.
We participate in the Twin Rivers District Day Camp, Popcorn Sales, Scout Day at the KC Zoo, District Pinewood Derby and other district activities. At the local level we hold an annual Chili and Soup Supper for a fundraiser, Blue & Gold Awards Banquet, Pinewood Derby, Raingutter Regatta, community service projects, family campouts, etc.
We have a pack meeting every 3rd Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Optimist building located at the North Lake in Garnett. The separate Dens (Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelo 1, Webelo 2) meet at least 2 times per month at the Optimist Building.
